We only stayed at Canon Village for 1 night, but wish we could have stayed for 2. We arrived early, but early check in wasn't a problem. Throughout our stay we were looked after by Gwendoline, who was happy, friendly, helpful and very well informed about the area, routes, petrol etc. She sent us out to see the canyon and upon our return we were treated to the most delicious toasted sandwiches, draught and gluhwein, while wild horses roamed about. It was incredible. Our rooms were basic, but comfortable and adequately fulfilled our needs. Dinner was as good as any one would find in a restaurant. 3 courses, main course buffet, outstanding wines and very well trained waiters. We thought Canon Village was outstanding and will definitely book 2 nights next time.
