Rooms are clean and spacious, staff very gently . Restaurant and swimming pool are ok. Shop is very interesting too. Water hole is located in a very good place and game drive in the morning with Ranger Rambo was perfect. Recommended.

Good ablutions, quiet less busy than Okaukuejo. Easy walk to waterhole where we saw elephant and rhino at sunset. Seats overlooking it, everyone kept quiet even though quite a few people there.
The ablutions were clean and really quiet.

Camping was very well shaded, place was also very quiet. Staff were helpful, watering hole is shaded which is great. Food was good, but breakfast is a bit of a rip off. The best of all three camps! Also, there's a very on a mission honey badger roaming the camp site at night.

This resort, although similarly priced to Okaukeujo does not come up to the same standard. The room was just OK although the lighting was very poor. The food was very poor in a large institutional dining room. Limited selection of meat and salad. The staff did however give us some ice cream for dessert instead of the entirely cake and sponge based puddings on offer. Breakfast was also poor. The staff generally did not seem to have much interest. We would not stay here again but would stay longer at Okaukuejo

An ever changing scene at the water hole. A convenient stop going either way through Etosha. Although married for almost 50 years, we too stayed in a honeymoon suite! It was great except for the 2 very large arm chairs which took up too much space; there is no time to sit as there is too much to see! Lots of space between chalets, so very private and quiet. Included brie and hot tub for those with time to spar. Pleasant public outdoor eating area; good food. Good place to stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights in late April 2014. We chose a honeymoon chalet which was very comfortable - nice large bed, fantastic bathroom with almost 2 of everything including 2 showers! There is a nice skylight above the bed so you can wake up with the sun. The room also has aircon which is sometimes needed. There is a little bar fridge and also tea/coffee making facilities. We were expecting the room to be ok but we surprised that it was modern and looked like it was recently refurbished. Outside we had a private area with our own jacuzzi. While this looked like a great addition, we didn't end up using it due to the many dead insects floating in the water. It doesn't look as though the jacuzzi is maintained very well, which is a real shame! The restaurant was better than expected. Breakfast had many options. They did run out of a few items when we were there close to the end. Dinner was enjoyable - buffet style, decent service and even enough options to keep my vegetarian husband full. The highlight of Halali was the waterhole! We spent alot of time there watching and waiting and were rewarded with a few amazing sights of rhino and elephant coming to drink. We saw game at all times of day and the waterhole feels more natural and less busy than the other camps in Etosha. Sundownders at the waterhole are highly recommended!

Room Tip: Honeymoon chalets very comfortable!

I stayed here as part of a package Chameleon safaris had organized.

The room is comfortable with its own bathroom. Check in was efficient. The resort has a camping ground and having lots of people camping makes it less scary to walk around at night or even visit the waterhole. Yes, the waterhole is lighted at night. This enabled us to observe a rhino that had visited that evening. It has a tourist shop where you can buy water, ice cream, snacks, etc.The breakfast had enough options.

This is the best place to stay when in Etosha.
