“wonderful waterhole”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Obviously this is a waterhole that's going to attract lots and lots of tourists, so be prepared for that, but the creatures you'll see in the environment are well worth the lack of privacy. Watching rhinos in the middle of the night greet each other and play family was amazing, just like being in the middle of a David Attenborough doco. Other highlights were the masses of zebras and the bull elephant who totally dominated 'his' waterhole.

We sat and watched Elephants all come and drink, after dark 3 rhino arrived.
In the morning few people there fantastic light for photography and several herds of zebras arrived lovely reflections. You could sit there for hours and avoid driving if you wished.

“Not Today Thank You”

A waterhole with a good viewing area. Nothing much happening whist we were there. But the potential for viewing is great especially towards the evening.

“heavenly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

We stayed at the Waterhole chalets, the only place to stay in Okakuejo, I think. The chalets are beuatifully appointed and you only have to leave for your meals. The animals come and parade themselves right in front bof you .Whether from your stoep or from your balcony you see everything -small game , elepnant lion - thel lot.And it is so peaceful and quiet.
