“Best of Midland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

Step inside, and you will wonder if you are in provincial little Midland. The place has the feel, and the wine list, of a big city venue. Small plates range from excellent to merely good -- there's nothing wrong with "good" -- and change from time to time. A very nice crew of servers. This is a very welcome addition to the scene.

“not up to par”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

High tables, empty back room or bar only place to sit inside for food so we sat outside even though a little chilly. Service was prompt and attentive. Menu is sparse and somewhat high priced. Calamari is deep fried so not too impressed with that. We got 1/2 dozen oysters which were good but one oyster was miniscule and should not have been served. I mentioned it to waitress and she only giggled instead of offering to replace it. The bottle of wine I ordered was not available and what they substituted was not good. I don't see this place having a long life. Friday night and it was not very busy. They have an extensive wine list with very expensive wines but with such a limited menu I don't see people spending that kind of money on wine with no food to go with it. Probably won't go here too often if ever again.

“Pretty Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

Went here for my birthday. Some people had some excellent drinks. The one I got actually tasted a little off - I don't recomment the spiced pear. It's not a good flavor even for sipping. The appetizers we got were out of this world!
