“Very pleasant suprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This place is a great place to go and sit by the windows looking for wildlife along the river bank and think of nothing else. They have fold across tables so that you can work on your computer too. The few exhibits they offered were nice to look at.

“Chippewa Nature Center”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

There are numerous trails that criss-cross the woods, swamp & river areas. There is deer, wild turkey, muskrats, turtles and other wildlife galore. There are classes, exhibits, outings scheduled year round, weather permitting. It is a great place to for both adults & children to explore. There are old buildings & domestic animals that are a representation of life as it was in the 1800s. There is the Maple Syrup festival & Fall Harvest which is an annual event. The art exhibit in December is a must see.

“preschool is awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

My daughter attended preschool here and absolutely LOVED it! If your child is and "outdoor" type of kid I can't express enough how much more they will get out of their learning by doing what they love. They teach by being outdoors for a portion of the day. My daughter still talks about it and she is now in fourth grade with all A's I might add :)

Great spot to visit with or without kids. They have done an excellent job in creating the displays and definitely worth a visit.

“beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Not just gardens, they have a house and farm buildings from the early days of Michigan at which they have several events during the year such as a maple syrup festival in March which are very fun and informative
