Excellent and obviously very new hotel. Staff massively motivated to do all possible to help. Rooms fresh and clean every day.

I stayed in this hotel 4 times for period ranging 3-4 weeks and I can say it's the best in the area. First, the hotel is brand knew and you can tell the difference becsuse everything works great and looks fantastic.
Rooms: The rooms are very comfortable, great beds, nice and clean bathrooms and a big full kitchen. One or two big LCD televisions with plenty HD channels. The only drawback is the noisy air/heat but it worked perfectly.
Services: the gym is fantastic with lots of treadmills and bicycles, each with it's own TV. Big indoor pool and a nice courtyard to hace a nice time outside.
Breakfast and dining: breakfast is very complete with eggs, waffles, fruits, etc. From Tue to Thu dining is served snd BBQ nights are amazing.
Staff: the staff is really the best part of this hotel, they are the BEST i've seen in any hotel EVER, from the front desk to the breakfast people are amazing, always there to help you and assist you with anything. Always greeting you with a smile.

I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Midland or the Tri City area to stay at this hotel. Simply the best I've been in the US.

Simply put ... this is a superb hotel. The "suites" resemble luxury apartments more so than economy hotel rooms, the staff is friendly and professional, the pool / hot tub, exercise room, outdoor sitting area, and breakfast area are all first rate (wonderful hot breakfast choices, real china, not plastic plates etc.)

Whether you're traveling on business or pleasure this property is an excellent choice.

Room Tip: The "one bedroom" suites with fireplace are larger, and only a tiny bit more expensive tha...

The staff at this hotel truly make it a great place for extended stays (I was there for a month). They were so friendly and willing to do anything to ensure that I had a great experience while staying there. The hot breakfasts were inviting and nutritious and I truly enjoyed the "social" hours (i.e., dinners) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If I hadn't already been traveling with colleagues, it would have been a great way to socialize with other guests.

Rooms are VERY comfortable (I really enjoyed the studio) with all the amenities including a kitchen, including dishwasher. The mall is across the street, Walmart and Meier are a short walk away, and several restaurants (Bennigans, Applebees, and Qdoba) are extremely close by. This is definitely my hotel of choice when I come to Midland on business!!!

Absolutely the ONLY thing I could say this hotel needed would be luggage racks. That being said, I used the rolling ottoman to put my suitcase on and it worked.

Room Tip: Loved the studio; one-bedroom had too many doors for me.

I stayed here for a month while relocating to the area. They offer a hot breakfast every morning, with real eggs. They have a sausage hash that is quite good. Three nights a week they offer a complimentary hot meal (buffet style). Over time, we had a variety of items including soup, chili, barbecued chicken, burgers, hot dogs, lasagna, pasta salad, potato salad and cookies and peanut butter-type brownies that were to die for. We had a spacious 2 BR suite with ample closet/dresser space, 3 large flat screen tv’s and a full kitchen. They’ll even do your grocery shopping if you give them a list. Internet was also complimentary. They have a beautiful pool/hot tub space, a separate billiards room and a spacious workout room (with tv’s attached to each piece of equipment). Weekends can get a little noisy with families/kids, and during a windy night the gate/fence around the dumpster rattled all night. Anything that I mentioend to the staff was remedied. Truly, the real story is the outstanding staff. Here you will find a fabulous collection of individuals under one roof. Everyone was outstanding from the front desk staff, to the housekeepers. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time that the snow has been brushed off my car in the morning! Staying at the Residence Inn and getting to know the staff totally reinforced my decision to move to Midland, Michigan.

Wonderful hotel! We had a 1 bedroom suite. It featured a full kitchen - including a dish washer! Close to the mall and many stores as well as the movie theater and several restaurants including Applebee's, Bennigans and Bob Evans. The front desk clerk said that a new Olive Garden is being built this spring. The indoor pool/whirpool area is spacious and relaxing. The fitness center is very modern - each machine has it's own TV! The gorgeous front lobby includes a fireplace and nice seating area as well as a pool table and library. There is also a small gift shop features snacks, beverages and sundries The delicious breakfast includes eggs, meat, and potatoes as well as waffles, pasteries and fruit. Perfect for a weekend getaway or longer stays for business. I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family!

If you're familiar with the Marriott brands, the Residence Inn is a top choice for a non-full service hotel. And if you want space and a kitchen this is it! This hotel is brand new - so very clean, updated, upscale with very nice common areas. The "lobby" is very large with a gas fireplace, breakfast room, lounging area and a pool table. There is a small market with frozen dinners, snacks and candy bars. No liquor yet. The pool and whirlpool are spacious as is the workout room. The rooms have the usual kitchen (granite countertops, stove, microwave, fridge) and living area which is also spacious and well laid out. Nothing bad to say. If the price fits your budget go for it!

Room Tip: If you don't like to walk get a room close to the elevators. And if you like to be close to the...
