“GREAT BEER! Great food and really cool eclectic atmosphere.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

This is a small bar/restaurant next to the main production brewery and logo store. Great place to grab a lunch or dinner and hang out to enjoy their brews. They have beer mugs hanging everywhere in the dining area which are owned by patrons who leave them there for their next visit.

“For those who like very dark Beers.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Dark Horse Reserve Bier was our goal. Great sandwich/burgers were a plus. WOW were we surprised. We came off the Interstate for a break and ended up buying 6 packs to go. Loved the crockery mugs and the club they go with. Most folk were taking a Growler to go. What a great deal if you live close. A must see, eat, drink Brewery when in the area. You can also find their Beers on tap at Leggs Inn in Cross Village, MI.

“Not always easy to get in...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

the place is usually packed. The beers are terrific and there is a wide variety to choose your favorite (we love the Black!). The food is amazing and while they added seating, there is never enough. Sometimes we try, but give up trying to get in and find a seat. The Dark Horse is a huge success.

“Local beer, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

We love Dark Horse, especially for it's atmosphere and beer. The food is not as great as other breweries, but is still really good. Their pizzas, especially, are excellent. My favorite brew is R.O.D., which is a red ale.

“A good beer and sandwich!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

I had a chance to stop in at Dark Horse recently for a beer and a bite to eat. It was only a few minutes off the freeway at the Marshall exit.

The place is interesting, in that it looks like it may have been an old lumber yard before it became a brewery. The pub is decorated in ceramic mugs and graffitti, creating an interesting mix that is hard to define.

The beer was quite good, and the sandwiches we'd ordered were excellent, made with pretzel roll that used spent grains from their brewing operations.

I'd defintitely stop again if I was in the area.
