“Perfect coffee stop in Downtown Manistee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

This is a great stop for coffee, tea or a lunch in Downtown Manistee. The Pannini and soups have been top rated in the Northern Express readers choice awards for the last several years.
I love a quick bite there with a Strawberry/banana vegan muffin and cherry juice. Good atmosphere and outside eating available and the service is always excellent.

“Love”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

If you are looking for a quick breakfast, lunch or just a coffee with snack, this is the place to come! Great staff that will cater to your ever whim and good food!
Most things are acceptably priced, however, somethings are "Splurge" worthy.

“Homemade goodies.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2012

People are friendly here. I'm not a coffee drinker but got a Smoothie and breakfast sandwich. Both were OK, overpriced for quality.

“Great Place to Relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2009

Goody's is an awesome place to unwind. You can get a great coffee or chai tea or, if you want a good and healthy meal, there are great sandwiches.

On one occasion, we had breakfast paninis that were quite filling. I loved the fact that the bread was not traditionally brushed with olive oil because the olive oil would have been too much for a sandwich loaded with perfectly cooked eggs, cheese, and meat. The bacon, egg, and cheese panini seemed really shy on bacon. The bacon consisted of small bits mixed with mayonaise spread lightly on the bread. But, the ham was loaded with perfect slices and another thin coat of mayonaise.

On another occasion we had scones and chai tea. The chai tea was perfect but the scones would have been a little better if they were stored in an air tight container instead of being wrapped in celophane. If the scones were traditionally baked, they took the texture of biscuits after being stored in the plastic wrap.

Overall the drinks were great, the staff was very courteous, and the atmosphere was amazing. This is a phenomenal place to relax and hang out.
