We booked a room on the internet based on the AAA rating of 3 diamonds and the accompaning write up in the AAA travel book. First of all, when we arrived, the room we booked was not what we were given. Secondly, the room had a musty smell, dirty window, dim lighting, and threadbare floor covering. It definitely needed a major upgrade to earn even a one diamond rating. I don't know who at AAA checked this place out, but whoever they were, they certainly didn't get it anywhere close to being an accurate review to give it a triple diamond rating. When we questioned why we did not get the room we reserved, we were given a runaround about how this was what they received from Ramada, etc., and it wasn't their fault, but they did have one other room available for the AAA rate we were given, however, when we checked out that room, it was even worse for wear than the initial one. We ended up checking out shortly after we checked in, and fortunately were able to find accomodations in a much nicer facility a short distance away. Until they complete a major update of this property and train their personnel to be more customer oriented, I would recommend anyone considering staying here look elsewhere.

We decided to stay here on short notice as most hotels were booked or too much money. The staff was friendly but seemed very rushed and not able to answer all of our questions because it was busy. Our room was right on the beach with a nice view, it was adequately clean but the entire hotel could use an upgrade. The breakfast was poor and the area where is was set up was small. If you're looking for good value for a room this place is the one you're looking for if you're not fussy.

Breakfast, location and room were good. We enjoyed the outside hot tub between the 2nd and 3rd floor. Had it all to ourselves.
