We had stayed here for several years and appreciated the fine view, location, pool and price and friendliness. After recent visit, however NEVER AGAIN! We requested a room on the Lake and were told they all were, but when arrived, faced a gravel parking lot and another motel. Insects, terrible dampness, dirty floors and "non smoking rooms" with all smoking neighbors who stood outside rooms and fumes filtered into ours. The pool, which had been a significant asset, is over chlorinated and the "spa" not heated at all. After swimming, we felt so covered in chemicals, that we walked through the mucky beach to wash off in Lake Huron, then took a long shower! Breakfast was very limited, with no juice, coffee so weak I think they have used the same grounds since we were there 5 years before.
