“Good value with Free Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

We stayed at this hotel for around $40, with a free breakfast included - waffles and all! Room was clean and comfortable. I brought my own pillow, which helped, as the pillows were very basic. Staff was willing to look up restaurants and call for us regarding hours of service, but did not know the local dining establishments well. Would stay again. We just came in for the night, as we were crossing on the Badger the next morning. Hotel promoted the Badger and its sailing schedule - very nice! Used to stay at another chain in town, but the last time we stayed it was getting tired and was much more expensive!

Room Tip: Use Hotels.com to book! Great service!

Not luxury but excellent location, friendly staff, clean and above all excellent value. Room was very clean and carpets had been deodorised which gave the room a pleasant
Feeling.
I was given a corner room that was a little dark but had the advantage of being very quiet.

Close proximity to a number of restaurants

Stayed ay Days Inn in Ludington, Michigan September 29,2012. Place was clean, easy to get to. Right across the street from the fair grounds. Shopping and places to eat nearby. Not the quietist’s place to stay. Beds were average. Room was a basic room, two beds, bathroom, CRT TV. Price was $41.00 for off season. Breakfast was not good waffles, Sweet rolls and fruit, that's it nothing more. For the price will stay again for only a night.

Our group was comprised of four adults and two young children. We rented two rooms. The hotel is clean and quiet and set back far enough from the road to minimize traffic noise. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is no elevator. The hotel has three floors and they helped us carry our luggage up to the third floor. The third floor rooms are large and have a microwave and refrigerator. The rooms are nice enough that I could easily stay there for a week. The beds were comfortable and we all enjoyed a good night's sleep. A mini golf and amusement area owned by the hotel is adjacent to the property. a fairground of some sort is across the highway but a good distance from the hotel. There are many breakfast choices and there are several tables available to sit at and eat. There were apples and bananas, yogurt, sweet rolls and cupcakes, waffles and toast, bagels, and several types of cereal. Coffee, milk, and juice is available. Many fisherman use the hotel and as a consequence, breakfast begins and ends early. Nearby there are many fast food and full service restaurants. This hotel is closed from November to April according to the staff. Next time we are passing through and need a place to stay for the night we will stop at the Days Inn.
The Ludington lighthouse, park, and beach are close by and worth a visit. The fishing from the lighthouse end of the breakwater is good. Everyone fishing had caught several salmon. I saw one that was about 30 inches long.

Room Tip: First floor rooms have easy direct access to the parking lot and many are near but not too close to...

Bed and pillows were comfy. Our neighbor spend most of the night smoking outside our window, so it smelt of smoke. Breakfast consisted of mainly bread items (bagels, english muffins, sweet rolls, muffins, bread, donuts, waffles) could have a larger variety of fruits.
