“Love it!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2011

Great view, clean, comfortable, quiet, beautiful. We walked to town for dinner, breakfast and the street fair. The balcony was perfect. I am a light sleeper and the only thing is I will not return until they replace the AC. It was so loud we had to turn up the TV and repeat every thing we said twice. Luckily it was cool enough at night we turned it off so we could sleep. That is THE ONLY downfall of the entire stay so if you are not a light sleeper you should be fine. I didn't mention it when we left because there is no way they could not know how loud that thing was. UNREAL.

It's tough to find a great cheap place on a lakeshore town so we went with a great place instead of a cheap one. The rooms are small, but extremely neat and the Inn is in a great place! You walk less than 400 feet and you got sand under your toes, and depending on the room you choose you could have a view of the lake for amazing sunsets on your personal porch (again depends on room choice!). No matter what you choose though this place is extremely clean, warm, welcoming and you feel safe the entire time! Would stay again depending on how much money we got for trip.

My husband and I traveled to Ludington by motorcycle and found Snyders to be just perfect...and we took the level 1, smallest room with parking lot view. Reasonable price for a summer weekend, and included a continental breakfast. Room and shower were very small, but we weren't in the room much. Right by the fabulous beach, the lighthouse and quick walk to downtown, marina and parks. Very clean, safe and we were warmly welcomed. Nice!

Room Tip: If you'll be out a lot, take the smallest room you can.

Nice and clean. Staff very friendly. Loved the close-at-hand beach and lighthouse. The sunsets were beautiful. Would absolutely go back!

These folks hate pets, made my relatives remove their dog on a blow day, then called the police when the dog was niow barking on public property near the hotel. the police officer even knew the issues with these people

This place was cozy, inexpensive, and right by Lake Michigan. Stayed for only one night and departed on the S.S. Badger the next morning. There was a deal going on for Badger passengers so it was very inexpensive. The grandma part of it was the decor. i thought it was funny and my wife thought it was cute. antique furniture and floral patterns sums it up. I don't spend a lot of hang time in hotel rooms when on vacation, so i was happy with the price, location, and character of the place. The staff was nice for the five minutes i spent with them. I would stay here again. The room was a little small, but so was the bill. That works for me.

Room Tip: Check their website for deals and then call ahead.

Our trip to Ludington was lovely. My only complaint about the hotel was that it was extremely expensive for what you get. We stayed during high season so I should expect that, but it was still close to 300 a night for a two room suite with one of the rooms having a pullout couch. The decor was trying for the bed and breakfast old country look --with creepy old dolls and all. We had to put a doll in the dresser because my son was sure it was staring at him. The staff was nice. The pool was too. I just haven't gotten over what they are charging to be near Lake Michigan.
