Wonderful personal service from the staff. Clean and quiet room. We have stayed at this hotel repeatedly and always find it to be wonderful. It is really nice to have a place you can count on each time we come to Ludington.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during a trip to Ludington during the off-season. My husband had a business trip, and I tagged along. While this is a pretty standard Holiday Inn Express, the property was updated, and the service was very friendly. We received very good dining recommendations from the front desk staff, and we felt the staff was knowledgeable about the area and really cared about their customers.

We were in a very spacious room and appreciated the refrigerator that was included. The hotel was very quiet (maybe because it was the off-season), and we weren't far from downtown Ludington and nearby attractions. The daily breakfast had many different hot and cold options, and we enjoyed use of the large pool and hottub.

This is a pretty large hotel, and I can see it being very popular and crowded during the height of tourist season. But I think it is designed to handle large crowds and would be a good option for families. Its location gave us good access and introduction to the area, and we would stay here again in the future.

We stayed here the Friday after Thanksgiving. We were a little concerned because we were told the hotel was full for a hockey tournament. However we did not hear a sound! This was great because we are very light sleepers. The room was very large, had a nice reading chair and the a/c worked even in the cold-YEAH! Comfortable bed and a couple different choices of pillows. The breakfast was extensive with both hot and cold items and hot baked cinnamon rolls. That was a first! They were delicious. Good coffee too. Would definitely stay here again. And it was a bargain!

I really was expecting the typical HIE, nothing special, we were totally surprised, the front desk greeted us promptly - we arrived late after 4+ hours of travel. We were offered snacks, Bottle of water, etc. hit the spot for the kids. Our suite was perfect. The kids got their own TV in their bunk room, they were so surprised and quite happy. The hotel was clean, pool was wonderful, nice and warm. Hot tub was great. Breakfast was above average, they had a pancake maker which worked out great. Every person we encountered smiled and talked to us! What a great surprise as we are building a home in the area and will be up often and we've found a great place to be comfortable as we watch our home being built.. Will definitely stay again.

The woman working the front desk when we arrived was outstanding. The best welcome I've received at any hotel. The pool, fitness room and game room were small but functional and inviting. The free breakfast was extensive and good quality, including a machine that makes pancakes (a big hit with the kids). The hotel is conveniently located next to a Big Boy restaurant and a McDonalds.

From the moment we were greeted, until the moment we left... the staff at this location "wowed" us. Kathie and Arianna made us feel welcome and treated our daughter like a princess. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, great TV. We had a kidsuite and our daughter was thrilled with the room. The only suggestion I have is to replace the queen bed with a king bed to delight mom and Dad! Breakfast was fantastic - everything you could want and they even asked if we wanted more before we shut down. The breakfast was much better than the usual breakfast included with a room. The pool area was also great! Clean, great decor. I would have a loved a couple extra degrees in the pool, but our daughter was not bothered. Game room was also a delight. The staff really were unbelievable. Every single person we interacted with were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay exceeded our expectations. We'll be back for sure!

Room Tip: Kidsuite if you have kids, closer to the pool area.

Normally, the further one gets from a resort or major metro, the more the quality drops in a motel chain. This property was just the opposite. Every staff member that we met were friendly, outgoing and concerned with our stay. The rooms were immaculate, well-appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast service was excellent also. If I were in the area, I would surely stay there again.
