“Best Customer Service Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

I was thoroughly wowed by the level of customer services I received at this hotel. After traveling for over 7 hours and having my luggage lost, I was not in the best of moods. Not only did the hotel provide exceptional service and have a great attitude, they also assisted my group and I with getting to a local store to purchase necessities we would need until our luggage arrived. During my stay, every request and question was met with a smile and immediate action. There is a distinct difference between good customer service and amazing customer service. At this hotel, every employee embodies a genuinely positive and helpful attitude that takes a stay from good to amazing. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lansing.

Great fitness center. Nice morning comp. coffee, newspaper & snacks. Some night front desk persons difficult. Others average to excellent. Clean and neat. Great housekeeping. Supplied comp. fridge to store my medications. Otherwise must pay extra for fridge. Great CBD location in Lansing. City parking facility can be easily accessed via covered walkway ramp on 2nd floor.

Room Tip: nice park and downtown market down walkway ramp. minor league Lugnut ballpark nearby across river fr...

I stayed here March 14-17, 2013; loved everything about it. The staff are so kind, and willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable. Valet was very convenient and they were always ready to help; the front desk helped me with downtown directions to the mall, even printed it up for me. I kept it for my next stay there. Love the beds, feel like pillow tops. The breakfast buffett was very good, fresh fruit and scrambled eggs are glutten free, so I had plenty to eat even on my special diet. Great wait staff there. Having the heated, covered walkway to the convention center makes this the only place to stay in downtown Lansing. Enjoyed watching the sunrise over the river on my last monring there.

My recent stay at the Radisson, Lansing, MI at the Capitol was a WONDERFUL experience. I cannot say enough about ALL of the Staff there - from the front desk to the valet staff and even the restaurant staff. Each and every one of them were down-to-earth and assisted me eagerly with any questions I had about the city. The Radisson itself had a relaxing atmosphere and was clean, clean, clean. Walking distance to Michigan's beautiful Capitol buildings. This was a definite stay again experience and the staff there should be congratulated for doing their job so well! Marietta

I stayed at the Radisson because my daughter's sorority was holding a gala event there. We were able to check in a little over an hour early to prepare for the evening. Front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was nice.

Both of the double beds in our room were Sleep Number beds. I love my Sleep Number bed at home but was disappointed by the ones at the Radisson...with two people in the bed, it felt a little like sleeping on a glorified air mattress. The room was extremely dry, which also contributed to a less than great night's sleep.

The banquet facilities were nice, service was good, and the food on the maincourse and salad buffet were just so-so. The desserts were definitely better than average.

Overall, a nice place to stay in the heart of Lansing and very close (about 10 minutes) to Michigan State's campus.

I love this hotel. The valet remembers my name. The lobby is lovely. The rooms are pretty, clean and comfortable. The parking is expensive at $16, but the WiFi is free. The pool is nice. But the food is overpriced and it takes some effort to go elsewhere. Still, this is where I prefer o stay in Lansing. I don't like the Kellogg Center with it's weird bathroom. The Marriot in East Lansing could use a renovation.

I like the family-friendly atmosphere, the professionalism of their staff, and the effort to always accommodate my away-from-home needs to make my stay pleasant and enjoyable.

The hotel is always very clean and the staff is tremendously helpful meeting the needs of legislators and visitors to our state's Capitol! The rooms are always well put together, and the breakfast is unmatched! It is a great location not just to stay, but to host events and meetings. I would highly recommend the Radisson to anyone who is visiting Lansing, or to any local students who are looking to gain experience working in the hospitality field.

The valet guys are especially welcoming and always brighten up my day!
