“Nice sports bar atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013 via mobile

I liked the big, open sports bar atmosphere. We ordered appetizers and drinks. All were very good. The server was not very friendly and seemed pretty disinterested in serving the customers; service was pretty slow. Other than the service I enjoyed the place and would try it again.

“Good lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

Went here with a group of co-workers for a weekday lunch. Overall, the lunch itself was pretty good, although the service a bit slow.

The place itself is definitely a sports bar, with tables covering every inch of floor space. I would imagine on weekends this place would be packed. However, on a Wednesday lunchtime, there wasn't much business.

Overall, we each got a variety of burger, and we were all very happy with the meal and the portion sizes. We're not sure if Wednesday was a burger day, so to speak, but all of our burgers were less than was listed on the menu.

My biggest complaint (other than the typical "stale beer smell" near the bar) was the service. Our server was friendly enough and accommodating, but service was pretty slow, especially considering how slow the business was (only about 4 or 5 tables filled). I was also put off with all of the wait staff sitting at the bar when I walked in, and having to walk up to them to ask if I just should sit at any table.

“Better than Bdubs.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Great sports bar with lots of tv's. Great decor. Friendly waitresses and great food. Super Nachos are awesome. 1/2 order is more than two people could eat together. Had the calimari the other day and it wasn't as good as other places. Pizza is great. Good selection of beers.

“Nothing special at this "roadhouse"”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

We went for dinner at approx. 5:30 p.m. and hardly anyone was in the place (an omen?). Standard roadhouse fare. Service was slow and our server was very disinterested in us. She placed our orders before us (hot dog& fries and 2 burgers with fries) and disappeared. We had to seek her out to tell her that she had gotten the order WRONG. Decor is dated and worn, just like the menu selections and food served. Would never return to this place again. There are a lot of other better places to eat in Lansing...too bad we wasted our time here.

“Allow plenty of time”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

We visited here with a group of 6. Food is average bar food, burgers, wings, fish n chips, etc.
We arrived at 6 and left ater 8. Noticed our waitress had outside tables and ours. Took a long time to get our drink. Then an additional 30 minutes just to take our food order only for the waitress to come back 30 minutes after we ordered to ask if we wanted boneless or regular wings.I thought we should have already had our food. She didnt know the beers they served and said there was no drink menu???
Do yourself a favor, try another sports bar!
