We felt like family in this lovely little cafe which was opened this Spring on the side of a previous market. It has a feel good look as soon as you enter, with happy paintings, herbs in a vase on the tables, a clean, viewable kitchen, and a corner where troubadours/vocalists can serenade you on weekend nights! We came for dinner, and it was so good we returned for breakfast. We had a plate of lightly fried onion rings (see pic) for a shared appetizer, and delicious sandwiches, clubs and reubens. Breakfast is available in the evening as well, see the pic of the yummy waffle with real butter! The pancakes are thin, like crepes, and have a delicious taste, and both are served with cherries and sauce...a Michigan specialty and we loved it! The owner, Leanna, sings on some weekends, but she and Leah were our servers when we were there, and she kept us quite satisfied. Sorry we missed a concert, but bought her CD! This happy little cafe is quite a find, and your tummy and heart will leave happy!
