We payed $30 more for the night to have the king bed and jacuzzi suite, there was not a kind bed and the tub was dirty. I cleaned it myself and we went to fill it and we had no hot water. The TV was awful, not only tiny but the colors were distorted and hard to watch. We had no ice bucket, cups, tissues, just half a roll of toilet paper, or wash cloths. We reported this to the night older lady and she did not care, she did not apologize or offer to get us any of these things. When I asked for something to get ice in she said there was not anything unless it was in our room, which it was not. She was just going to write them down for housekeeping for the next person, well I'm glad they'll have everything they need... She was extremely rude and inhospitable. The carpet was not clean, there was a used coffee stirrer on the floor wrapped up in the phone cord, used shampoo bottles with pubic hair on them and an extremely uncomfortable bed with one small squished pillow a piece... hardly a "Royal Suite" as it was titled. This ruined our anniversary and we ended up leaving by 9pm

I have traveled alot over the last 30 years. This was by far the worst exerience I have ever had in a Hotel. 4 nights -- we never had our room made up or clean towels delivered. We had to go to the front desk every evening and ask for towels. We placed our old towels in the hallway near the room door, thinking that surely someone from housekeeping would at least pick them up. They never did. I sent an email to the corporate offices and got an appology -- but they said that the hotel is independantly owned and that they would pass the complaint on to the owners. I never did hear from the owners. It was a low priced room -- $50. I guess that you get what you paid for. I would do a Motel 6 or 8 if I could do it over again. At least the room would get some attention.

the lobby and hotel in general are clean and pleasant enough. the hotel room itself was a tad on the shabby side but it had comfortable beds. the location was a nice straight shot to the Bell's Brewery which we were visiting on our Michigan brew tour. All in all, a decent experience and the price is right.

They moved me to a different room, which was okay. The first room had a strange smell, which was different than the strange smell in the hallway, and little to no Wi-Fi signal. The second room was closer to the front desk and had no smell in room or hallway, and a much stronger Wi-Fi.

They have done some updating/repairs since my last visit in 2009 when it was a Lee’s Inn. For $49 a night (coupon at hotelcoupons.com) it’s tough to complain. Breakfast is weak, but two restaurants are within walking distance (Stacy & Theo’s is better than Callahan’s). For good pub grub, walk to Brewster’s (across parking lot) or Fat Tony’s (across the street).

Very close to airport, but did not hear any jet noise in my room during my two-day stay.
