Hello, I live in this area by City Park Close to the Iron Mountain Stadium. Iron Mountain is a small town. We have quite a selection of restaurants, but if you are looking for malls you may be disappointed. A good majority of the people here are nice. Every morning I try to tell someone hello, and have a nice day or Good Morning! Come here for skiing in the winter, Pine Mountain and Norway Mountain are great places to go to. Yet a little pricey but worth it. The parks are nice here, quiet and can be calming. In the summer time the parks can be crowded with birthday parties but it is still a great place to be. Iron Mountain is safer than a city would be. I've lived here my whole life so far. Or if you come up here in the Autumn the trees and leaves are very beautiful. Everything is so brightly colored, very nice to just take pictures. Teenagers like myself will find Iron Mountain boring if you don't ski, but we manage:) , there is bowling, ice skating, skiing, stores, and a movie theater. I love it here but job wise it is not the best at the moment for a lot of people have been getting laid off because of the economy. I wish you all great luck traveling<3
