If I could give this place a zero I would. The low price of this place may be enticing but it’s not worth the headache.
I booked two rooms for a single night stay and was charged twice for one of the rooms. I called the location to inform them that I was charged in error and they said that they would remove the charges and even sent me a copy of the receipt showing the true amount. At this point I figured everything had been settled.
However, when I checked my credit card statement for a second time I found that the charge was still there in addition to a fourth charge pending for an additional $65.80.
For a second day in a row I called Days Inn to voice my frustration and was essentially told by the receptionist that there was nothing that could be done on his end and that I should contact my bank. So, I called my bank to have them dispute the charge and am currently awaiting a response back.
I regret not following my instinct to cancel my reservation and book a room at the Country Inn & Suites directly behind Days Inn. On top of being charged twice, the rooms were not properly cleaned. The lamp in one of the rooms was covered in spider webs and the second room had threads of hair on one of the pillow cases. Not to mention, the “continental breakfast” at this place being a complete joke. They served nothing but pre-packaged food.
