“Decent place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The place was recently renovated but the carpet needed to be cleaned. The breakfast was not the greatest. The eggs were prepacked and didn't taste very well. Overall, I doubt I would stay again. The rates are a bit high and the room wasn't the most quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Upon entering side entrance after check in we noticed a terrible smell skunk like near the elevator. We made our way to our 3rd floor room that was supposedly just renovated and new, and upon entering we put our bags down flipped on all the lights and pulled one of the bedspreads down and lifted a pillow to look at cleanliness of the sheets and out crawled a BIG COCKROACH. AFTER HEARING MY WIFE SCREAM I ran out of the bathroom and swatted the bug and turned on my flashlight from my smartphone and began searching for more. I could not believe that we came accorss another little ONE COCKROACH. After calling several times with no answer we finally got the night manager to come up and see for herself. WE asked for a refund and got the heck out of there. On our way out to the parking lot we noticed 15 to 20 people having a BBQ on the lot at night and drinking beers etc. and smoking funny stuff and were very loud. NO MAS NO MAS

We had a king suite , the room was spacious, but don't wear white socks. The carpets really need some serious cleaning. Looked like room had recently been reprinted , painters tape of the window , was the hint.
Breakfast was nothing to get excited about, would have been nice to have more than apples for fresh fruit. The lid of the trash cans in the breakfast were incredibly grimy , asked twice if someone could take care of it. Lids were still cruddy the next day for breakfast. We switched rooms the second night because front facing rooms have a lot of road noise and garbage trucks at 4 it the morning.

Pros: All hotel staff were very friendly. Free breakfast. Quiet.
Cons: The Audi (that I assume belonged to someone who worked there) that was constantly parked in front of the entrance door made it hard to get around the parking lot. Rooms could have been cleaner. Dirty towel left on the back of bathroom door from a previous guest and foot prints (foot not shoe... complete with toe prints) on the wall. Outside entrances for first floor rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for 2nd or 3rd floor if you want an inside entrance.

Prices are higher in this tourist area! My wife and I don't have a budget, but if these motel room prices stay this high, we may go home early. Trouble with housekeeping first couple of days in a four night stay (including Friday & Saturday). Spacious Executive King room. We don't watch TV from bed so had to rearrange couch ( which includes a unique chaise lounge). Entry light kept going on and off by it self! Weird! Bathroom vent runs continually; had to shut bathroom door to block noise for sleeping. Bathroom light motion sensor quirky. Here's a new one: tub has puddle that won't drain; must not be tilted enough. Found six items that are normally in a motel room that were absent in this room. Usual breakfast items in smallish dining room, which includes a long, high table with stools which would be good for a large group. Used laundry which has 2 washers and 2 dryers. Fantastic 9" shower head. Be careful with glass bi-fold closet door!

Room Tip: East rooms (use your cell phone compass) overlook a grass field and small pond.

Got a deal on this hotel for 4th of July weekend when many other hotels in the area were double the price.

The room itself was fine. Clean, refrigerator and microwave, usual amenities. The cleaning staff was also friendly and asked us if we needed anything even though we didn't need the room cleaned. However, the first batch of towels in the room must have been very new, because they left white lint all over us.

The downside: when I pulled up to check in, a man stopped his car right in front of the lobby doors, completely blocking my car in. I walked in to find this person behind the front desk, apparently the manager. I found this incredibly rude, and the car was parked there multiple other times, right in front of the main door, blocking loading and parking for guests. It was some kind of nice car, so I guess he wants to be able to see it.

The breakfast also isn't very good. No oatmeal, no healthy cereal choices.

Very nice motel, very good bedding, room was quiet with easy to use air/heat controls. A friendly and attentive staff. A nice pool and hot tub area. Hot breakfast doesn't just have carbs, only lacks oatmeal.
