We went 1 day before tulip festival started so it was very uncrowded. You are supposed to get through it in 2-3 hours, but we took much longer. Would probably be very packed during tourist times since it is not very big. This is not anything like Disney, but just a cute place to visit for a morning or afternoon w/o having to walk alot. I am thinking some of the buildings would normally have an attendant (such as old "witches scale"), but because we were off season there was no one to let you on the scales. We also didn't see anyone making the delft pottery. Definitely try the cafe (you do not have to enter park for this) as they have authentic food which is surprisingly affordable for an attraction. The Banket (almond roll) is made by a lady who works there and is so good.
