You're in Holland MI. It's winter time. It's lunch time and you are not interested in going to one of the national chain fast food places. The Chinese restaurants don't look that inviting either. Then you drive past the Wild Hog BBQ. It looks new (it opened in 2007), so you go in.
The place is spotless clean. The menu display has plenty to chose from but it is not overloaded with too many options. A few main BBQ dishes with a respectable number of sides. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are remarkably reasonable.
I ordered the pulled pork and sausage combo, with some spicy sauce and some potato salad. The sausage was good but the pulled pork was outstanding. My wife tried the pork and the chicken and it turned out to be an even better combination than mine.
This is a true little gem in Holland's fast food class and worthy of your patronage.
