Hotel staff very friendly, rooms cleaned but not adequately stocked for 6 people in a double room. When asked for more towels at least one per roomie, they wanted dirty towels turned in first. ?? Large Group from Ohio Snowmobiliers filled the hotel & Bar, had an awesome time. 4 men to 1 woman ratio......DJ for dancing did very well with mix for every age.
Unfortunately, Management understaffed Restaurant & Bar serverly for the reserved crowd. waiting for over a 1/2 hour for a drink and longer if ordering food.
Continental Breakfast was simple, ran out of food, could pay and eat at the hotel restaurant, but Big Boy was just a few doors down and had awesome food & service with a normal price.
Ramada Inn needs to step it up in the bar & restaurant service to be better competition with the local businesses.
Cross Country Skiing Trails are not available behind the Ramada no longer, but snowmobile trails we're ready for the riders. Sport Rental Equipment was very affordable at Northbound Outfitters just north of this Hotel.

Room Tip: Hartwick Pines had awesome trails for CC skiing, and Hanson Hills boarding & ski Hill looked wel...

I stayed at the Ramada Grayling on January 29. My room was recently remodeled, with a door into the hallway and a door outside to the parking lot. At first I wasn't sure about the outside door, but found it to be wonderful for loading and unloading my luggage! Now I will be disappointed with every hotel that doesn't have an outside door directly to my car.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the main floor with the outside door access.

We spent three days snowmobiling while staying at the Ramada Hotel last week. You can get to the trails right outside the parking lot.
We love the indoor and outdoor room exits. We can access our snowmobiles right outside our door. The rooms are always clean and comfortable.
The hotel offers a great free breakfast or you can order off of the menu at a very reasonable price. They also have a great dinner menu.
We always enjoy the large warm water pool and hot tub. Especially after a full day of being outside. We just made reservations for another three days for next weekend.

Room Tip: If you are there for a snowmobile ride vacation be sure to ask for a indoor and outdoor exit room.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your comments. We are certainly glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your return. We have had a foot of snow fall in the last 2 days and expect more in the next couple of days. Don't forget to say hello to me when you are here.

Best Regards,

Henrietta Simmons, GM

The greeters /front staff were very pleasant. Wait staff in dining room very nice. Waited a very, very long time for our food (45 mins) both nights we ate there. Food was good. Some people left because of the wait. The waitress in the bar was rude the one time we saw her. We left because of the poor service. Her attire was inappropriate ( pants too tight). She was too busy talking with her friends. The loudness in the poolside rooms were awful. Kids playing at 8am woke us up.
