“Clean, welcoming and affordable”

This facility fit our needs for a short trip to Grand Rapids to visit Meijer Gardens. The Inn's staff was very nice right from the arrival. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable with a variety of pillows and was very quiet. The breakfast was well attended to and fit our needs with the usual variety of items offered by this chain. There is a Carraba's Italian Restaurant about a block away for an easy walk to dinner, otherwise I think any chain fast food restaurant you can think of is a short trip.

Thank you for your input. We were so pleased to read that you were able to stay at our property and also visit Meijer Gardens. Grand Rapids continues to grow and the gardens are one of the true hidden gems of West Michigan. We were glad to hear that our staff was friendly and our rooms were well cleaned. This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Everything was clean-- the rugs, the tub, the workout room, the breakfast area. The bed was extremely comfortable and had many pillows of varying softness. The heater/air conditioner was the quietest in-room unit I have ever heard (or not heard) in a hotel room. To top it off, this Comfort Inn has a fantastic staff. Everyone from the desk clerks to the housekeepers to the breakfast staff to the management was extremely friendly and engaging. Since my grandson lives 3 miles away, this will be my home away from home.

My second time staying at the Comfort INN in GR. Friendly staff, good breakfast - loved the fruit variety. The internet connection was rather slow, seems faster and better at the lobby. Rm 206 was a bit stuffy with dust on the A/C...the quality of cleaning can be improved to address the stuffiness in the room. Overall, I appreciated the friendly staff, airport shuttle and proximity to restaurants.

Everything went right on this trip, starting with our greeting from Camie and my winning a prize! We'll happily stay again, and again, and.... and now I have to write a minimum of 200 characters, which is bull ****. See how I cleverly turned the one word "bull****" into two words to help me meet that minimum. That didn't work because I used profanity, so I had to edit myself, but I'll bet this is 200 characters.

We have stayed at this Comfort Inn several times. The last couple of times we have an extremely helpful front desk person. Her name is Erin and she is both professional and helpful. She seems to love her job and really enjoys people. The hotel meets all our needs. It has an early airport shuttle and accommodates early flights by starting breakfast service at an early hour. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Here for business. Had to wait 20 minutes for the shuttle, but everyone was accommodating and friendly. The room was very adequate and the bed comfy. The hotel staff went out of their way to ensure I had a feather free room. Only criticism is hotel IS dated and in need of renovation.

We are glad you found the beds comfortable and the rooms clean; after all, these are two of the most important aspects of any hotel experience. Still, these two aspects would be amiss without customer service that goes above and beyond the ordinary, which you experienced and we will pass on your kind words to the rest of the staff. Finally, on the condition of the hotel; we are in the process of renovating as you mention. We are repainting rooms, updating furniture, and in January will be getting new curtains. Our owners are committed to providing guests with a great stay and these changes are part of our ongoing improvement plan. Again, thank you for staying with us. My office booked a 2 night stay through Priceline for a business trip to Grand Rapids, but due to business issues I ended up staying for 6 nights. The staff is great, Erin, Katie and Harrison are friendly, professional and everyone seems to work together very well and were dedicated and attentive to my needs as a guest. The breakfast was unexpectedly good, room and bath very comfortable and clean, great pillows! Location is close to some decent restaurants and shopping. In addition, the price was right and imo this place is a great bargain for the service and amenities.
