The food was okay, a lot of it was nearly empty, but when I returned for my second trip it had been refilled. The worst part was the cleanliness, or lack thereof. There were multiple tables that were just a hideous, disgusting mess. Ice cream melted in bowls were overflowing on the table, food all over the floor to the point where you had to really watch where you walked when going to the buffet. One of the ice machines was empty and never got refilled, so there was a line of people waiting to get ice at one machine. And the women's bathroom was disgusting. Two of the stalls had no toilet paper, the garbage was overflowing, there were paper towels and toilet paper all of the floor, the sinks were filthy and sopping wet. And $11 for a buffet for one person, plus extra for a beverage is just ridiculous, especially when you have to eat in that environment. I was so excited that Grand Rapids had an Old Country Buffet after our Muskegon location closed, but I see that the Grand Rapids locations is no where near the standards that were held up by the Muskegon location.
