“Beautiful gardens and lots to see.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

This is a fun stop for families who either live in the area or are visiting. The cost of admission isn't too steep, and there is a lot to see. They have an indoor garden, as well as having an exhibit (usually some art that is nature-related) and a good-sized outdoor area to explore. Obviously there is little to do in the winter, but spring and summer are great!

“great for wheelchairs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

my brother and i took our parents to the gardens, both of our parents are in wheelchairs. we used the wheelchairs provided by the gardens. everything was easily accessible and we had a very memorable visit for my parents. they responded to the sensory experience even more than i expected. admission is a bit high but overall i decided it was worth it. also, take the tram tour, very worthwhile

“A lasting memory”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

When I attended my first outdoor concert here, there was a moment which was just so spectacular. About halfway into the concert, the appreciative crowd was engaged with the performance, the sun was settling in the west and the magnificent horse was in the shadows.....the dimming sunlight seemed to focus intensely on a sculptured youth from the children's park.....with both arms raised towards the heavenly light. I could not imagine that this was planned when the park was developed...... or could the planners have been that exceptional to think of all such things? I will be forever grateful!

It is always so beautiful no matter what of the year you go. Love the butterflies and Christmas decorations the best. So nice to walk outside in the sunshine
