“Great Beer and Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

We went for lunch on a Friday. They offered us samples of several beers and were very knowledgable about the beers. We had pulled pork and a burger with a side of mac and cheese. All if it was great! No kids menu, but they were willing to work with us.

“Go for the selection, leave for the prices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

The main reason to check this place out is the beer selection. It is awesome, and you really just have to see it to believe it. On the food realm, I have only had some fries and appetizers, but let me say it was a pretty good indicator of the possibilities contained in that little kitchen. My only issue is the prices are very "down-town" (Read: As high as I would expect in Chicago or Boston). It doesn't really hit you if you just try two or three beers and try out some new brews, but they will kill you on pitchers. One will be 14, and all of the sudden there is a 28 dollar pitcher on your tab. There is no rhyme or reason to it, so check before ordering....

“A must for beer enthusiasts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

You can't beat it for micro-brew variety and the staff knows beer like nobody else. Very helpful and the outdoor seating is fabulous! Highly recommend the dip trio! :)

“I'm addicted...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

I'm not sure how they make them so addicting, but the Stoner Tacos (chicken tacos in blue corn taco shells with oh so yummy sauce) and the Crack Fries continue to call me and my friends back to Hopcat. The beer selection and the drinks are great as well. Wonderful, comfortable vibe in a beautiful casual space in downtown GR. Great seating options, indoors & out and lots of good specials throughout the week. My only regret is that I didn't start going to Hopcat until this year...I had no idea what a treasure it is!
