“Highlight of a chilly day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

We arrived too late to get into the Titanic exhibit at the GR Museum (plan ahead, and don't go on a Saturday). We hadn't had Mexican cuisine for nearly two weeks. My GR-based daughter and son-in-law suggested Cinco de Mayo, and we were rewarded with a delightful meal, just right for a chilly day in February. Two pitchers of margaritas for the four of us and the warmth of good food and service warmed us from the inside out.

“Friendly service, mediocre food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

We went during art prize in September with another couple. We all felt that the menu was too large and maybe should think about simplifying it.

The service was fast and friendly. They have dos Equis amber on draft which is always a pls for me.

The food was out in just a couple of minutes. At a fast food place where everything is per-made I expect this, but at a sit down establishment, it made wonder if anything was actually made fresh or not.

The food itself was ok. Just one of us devoured their entire plate (my brother-in-law). He loved the place, but for me maybe just a fun and festive place to get drinks only in the future.

Good food, and great margs. Bright and festive look. We enjoyed our walk around town and to find this place. Would love to return in our travels.

“good location, not such good food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

Very lively, bright and a great location but the food isn't on a par with the other elements. Very average Tex-Mex quisine. If you're already dowtown and you want mexican it fills the bill, but I wouldn't venture downtown just to eat here.
