“Easy to get to!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

This venue is very easy to get to. Our friends stayed at the Holiday Inn right off 131 so we were able to park there and walk to Van Andel with them. Nice easy walk to arena. Arena seemed very clean and employees friendly. We had a great time!!!

“Always nice, pricey like all stadiums”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

Overall, the Van Andel is always kept very clean and the workers are friendly. The drinks/food is obviously expensive because you're there to see an event, but overall a really nice place to go.

“Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

This place Rocks!! Easy to get around. Not a bad seat in the house. The "Vault" bar doesn't have a cozy vault feel, but its a great place to get a beer and chill before the event. Drink prices a bit high. even for a concert venue.

“Rock and Roll Never Forgets”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Traveling to Grand Rapids to see Bob Seger is always a treat because Van Andel Arena is the best place to hear him sing short of having him in your own livingroom. The acoustics are great at Van Andel making it a pure pleasure to visit.
The crowd flows easily in the venue which can be reached by the street entrance or the skywalk that connects many of the downtown businesses.
The staff is both courteous and helpful with an excellent attitude toward their guests.
The parking there is basically unlimited with several options available and the arena is easily accessible from US-131 off the Pearl St. Exit.
Always a good time going to events at Van Andel!
