“Smaller friendly hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We stopped in Frankenmuth on the way to Northern Michigan. We didnt need anything fancy as we were just staying the night. We came in late and was able to check in even though the office was closed. They even had a welcome sign outside with our names on it. :) Nice touch.
Staff was very friendly even though it was very late at night and even gave recommendations for dining and shopping.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Great price for what we needed and got.

Brandy,

Thank you for your review. We are a smaller property so we are not open 24 hours a day, but we do have someone on the property 24/7. His job is to be there for guests like you who have been traveling all day and arrive late. It is wonderful to here that he still took the time to answer your questions and made you feel welcome. I hope you enjoyed Frankenmuth and Michigan as much as I do!

We actually stayed here in Aug 2011. Rooms are clean.
Refrigerator in room is a bonus, has iron, hair dryer, very nicely appointed. will stay here again when we visit in 2013. Great place. Close to town. Has a very homey feel to the place. Grounds are well cared for.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at Frsnkenmuth Motel for a night while my boyfriend was in town for work. I walked to Bronners, it was only about 5 mins away. It's about a 5 min drive to downtown. The rooms are average, nothing special. I asked at the front desk if any resturants where within walking distance and was told no. And that a pizza place was the only place who delivered. I later found out there was a free shuttle to downtown.... I wish she would have told me.

I just want to clarify that the Frankenmuth Motel does not have a free shuttle. We do not have a shuttle at all. There is a shuttle that runs between other places in town but not the Motel.

I am not sure what time of day/night the question was asked of the Front Desk if there was a restaurant close by but if it was later at night they may have been closed or not not serving food so that might have been some of the confusion. After 10pm in Frankenmuth Pizza is about the only option or Fast Food. On that same note if it was Breakfast time the only places that offer breakfast are on Main Street not closer than 11 blocks from the Motel. The Motel only offers a basic continental breakfast.

We do not offer a shuttle and we are located off the Main Street shopping area but what is nice about Frankenmuth is that all of Downtown has free parking.

We have stayed at the Frankenmuth Motel for the past six times we have travelled to Frankenmuth. We found it to be very friendly and accessible to all events going on. We never hesitate to contact thems. We enjoyed the new beds this year, very comfortable.

Located near the main street of Frankenmuth. Spacious room, quit surroundings. The "breakfast" was only a small pastry that didn't look very fresh and coffee. Very nice overall for the price. Walking to shops and restaurants might be too much for non-walkers.

We always stay at the Frankenmuth Motel when we visit the area. Staff is very friendly, rooms are reasonably priced, and the location is convenient to both Frankenmuth and Birch Run. Remember this is an older motel, it is clean and fairly well maintained but does have dated decor. It is great for our family, we love driving through Bronner's next door at night to see all the Christmas lights.

This was our 2nd year staying at the Frankenmuth Motel. My mom brings my sisters and me every year. We have stayed at many of the other hotels around Frankenmuth and LOVE to stay here. The staff treats you like family not just a guest. It is an older hotel so the walls have a few dents and dings. The rooms are very clean, some with mini fridges and WONDERFUL beds. Great location with easy load/unloading right in front of your room. No waiting for an elevator or long walk with lots of bags. Easy getting in and out of the motel since it's off the main drag with very little traffic. Hot coffee and cocoa in the office all day. Breakfast has coffee, cocoa, juice, toast, mini muffins, bagels, and sticky buns. Wish we had found this gem 10 years ago. Great Stay, Great Price!

Room Tip: Go for a room with a mini fridge and bring a few drinks with you to relax after a long day of shoppi...
