“An unexpected surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We asked our son (Michigan State student) to take us out to eat...what a surprise! We were not expecting homemade hummus, grape leaves, & fresh squeezed juices! It has become the place to go whenever we visit.

“Truly an oasis for road weary travelers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

We stopped here to eat when we got off the highway (16 hours into a 20 hour road trip) and it looked like a promising alternative to the fast food we were definitely tired of. We had the falafel sandwich, beef kabobs, and chicken kabob salad. Everything was wonderful. The hummus was incredibly smooth and the kabobs were expertly cooked.

We had our dog with us so we utilized the outdoor seating and they were very attentive to providing her with fresh water.

“Decent food, but not as good as it used to be”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

Woody's used to be my favorite location for this type of food, but they have gone a bit downhill. I find their sandwiches to be on the dry side, and everything else there is good, but not spectacular. I do like the spinach pie here, and we like to get the french fries with a choice of dips (we always get hummus, Baba Ganoush, and Ranch dressing). It's good because we live in East Lansing so it's a good stop when we're in the mood for fries. If I want a full meal, we usually head to Aladdin's.

“Middle eastern overload”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012 via mobile

Went with 3 colleagues for dinner. Great beer selection and large varied menu.

After the beer and Meat Sampler appetizer and soup (bland), should have stopped there..

Followed by garlic chicken kabobs and a plate of rice and grilled vegetables was enough for three people. Multiply that by 3 other large entrees and a lot of food went to waste.

Suggestion..., tale your time and sample the appetizer before ordering an entree.

Waste was not their fault but kind of ruined it knowing what was to be discarded.
