Both my husband and I really enjoyed this hotel.
The employees were incredibly nice and helpful from the beginning of our trip to the very end. The first person we met was the porter. He reminded my of that wonderful porter, LaMar, in the movie That Thing You Do. When my husband realized late at night after the stores had closed that he had left his cell phone charger at home and desperately needed to have his phone charged for an important meeting the next day, the concierge found a charger that matched my husband's cell phone. The driver of the shuttle was informative, a great driver, and extremely kind.
The Restaurant, Fishbones, which is attached to the hotel, is an absolute must! The service is only second to the delicious food. You HAVE to try the Jambalaya!!! OMG!!!
The room was spacious and cozy at the same time, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable as well as beautiful. The only downside to the room was the amount of towels left. There's a very deep and inviting tub, so if you decided to indulge yourself before going to bed, you won't have a dry towel for the morning unless you call and request one.
This was one of the best experiences (other than the Westin and the Hyatt in Hawaii) that we have had at a hotel. Highly recommend it!
