I have to admit that this property never disappointed me, and the staff exceeded my expectation at every turn. My room (1232) had a great view of Tiger Stadium and Fords Field. The views from the other side of the hall over looked the beautiful suspension bridge that leads to Windsor, Canada. The staff at the MGM are memorably awesome. Very kind and attentive, service focused people. It's truly a culture of service at this hotel. You are treated like a valued guest. From my first employee contact, James at the front door, to every other contact made in the hotel, I felt like I was among caring people. My highest Praise goes to Dee Dee, who arranged my ground transportation to and from the airport, as well as Ford Field. She also secured my Lions v Packers tickets and even made sure that I had a Lions shirt for the game.

My room was large, clean, and the decor was classy and simple. The shower is large enough for two, (or more if needed). The high tech features can at times be frustrating to figure out. I don't really enjoy needing to read multiple buttons to turn on a light. I dig simple switches. However, the free WiFi was certainly welcome.

This is an ideal place for a week long business meeting. I never left the hotel, and still had plenty of unexplored restaurants and activities. Hotel rooms were super comfortable. Nice staff. Highly recommended !!

My overall experience was excellent! How ever, they should hire a couple of new customer service reps (Latoya),who can better service customers. Don't assume someone want a handout. Because the hotel forgot to tell customers the pool was under construction ( 11/17/12)Think before you speak.!

My expectations were not high attending a conference at the MGM, but they definitely exceeded them. The rooms were very nice (spacious, new and clean) and the service was good. The hotel restaurants were also very good and I enjoyed the casino as well.
