The food here is excellent, but it remains just a step below true five star quality; you pay for the view and experience here. This is not to suggest that the meal was disappointing in any way, but expectations should be in line with those of a Ruth Chris or Morton's; emphasis is on presentation and atmosphere. Menu is somewhat limited, at odds with the incredibly extensive wine list. Participation in Detroit's 'restaurant week' dumbs down the patrons to a nearly comic level.
A truly fantastic option for special occasions or tourists visiting the city, but serious foodies are likely to leave wanting.
