The food was wonderful as was the atmosphere. Not modern and updated like some other high end Italian returants, but more of a deliberate classic old stylel feel - keeping it consistat with it's claim of being the oldest Italian resturant in Detroit. It was clean and well cared for and comfortable.
Aside from lacking all the modern design of a newer place - which in my opinion enhances the charater and experience - the food and service was incredible. We recently celebrated a family reunion with three generations on a busy Saturday night - and the entire evening went flawlessly. As first generation Italians, we know good food - and this was all top shelf.
I hope I am lucky enough to visit again soon.
