“Worth the trip downtown!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is a really nice find down town Detroit. It is walking distance from several of the Detroit Specialty Medical Centers. Everything is vegetarian and can be made vegan too. They have a fresh juice bar with vegetable juices and fruit smoothies. They are very happy to make anything on the menu to your liking, making substitutions or additions . The Yam fries were amazing, as well as the batter dipped cauliflower. They have a wide variety of sandwiches as well as entrees and also breakfast items. A little pricy, but unfortunately that is how it is if you want to eat healthy. The food that is really good for you also costs the most. This food was worth the cost!

“Heavenly good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

This restaurant was a great discovery - vegetarian/vegan dishes cooked by people who love food. We loved the beet salad, the kale salad, the thai salad, the huevos, and definitely the juice cocktails. Sometimes their service is slow, true, but they are so charming, who cares? The area is great too - make sure you wander over to the Detroit Artists Market, which is just a block away, and has great staff which will tell you all about Detroit. We spent two days in Detroit and went to Seva twice. I want their recipe book.

“If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

I really liked this place, but the service was beyond slow. We couldn't figure it out, because it wasn't crowded. Anyway, if you have the time, the menu is extensive and if a meat eater complains, too bad. If you are going with reluctant meat eaters, brunch might be a good choice. Be sure to order sweet potato fries which, of course, go with anything. three things to know, 1) there is outdoor dining., 2) There is parking., (kid of tucked away behind) 3) You can visit a gallery near by. One more plus, They have ROUND tables (so much better for visiting with a group of 6.)

“Yum vegetarian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

The food was very good fresh. The menu was delightful and has numerous options. Parking is free, easy, and close by, there is a large open lot. There are lunch specials 11-3 pm monday through friday. Seva serves beer, wine, coffee, along with mixed drinks.

“Excellent!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

I am a vegetarian but a lot of my friend and family are not. Seva is a favorite of everyone and has even convinced many of my carnivore associates to dabble in the vegetable only route. It is phenomenal! We have been there many times and have never had a bad meal.
