Could not find the hotel on Mercury Drive off of Hubbard Drive, but was finally given good directions by the Ritz Carlton bellboy at the Fairlane Center.
Courtyard bedding is first class luxury and is surprisingly available to purchase for an arm and a leg in the room brochure.
Had aggravating experience with the indoor pool and whirlpool. No shower facilities are available in the pool area, leading to horribly murky yet thankfully chlorinated pool water. It was so bad on Friday that I did not enter either facility that was crowded with loud non-bathers. I needed to nurse a sore shoulder in the whirlpool and could not stand the thought of going in to it after a friend of mine had received an infection requiring antibiotics for a similar adventure. All public and private pool facilities should require soap and water showers prior to usage for everyone, period! I am not a neat freak, maybe just a health freak. I am not very fond of armpit or pubic hair found floating amidst fromunda cheese in an aquatic setting.
Breakfast was decent at ten dollars plus tip, plus the snack area near the front desk was handy where I was able to purchase some Advil for the sore appendage.
