We stayed at this hotel for two nights on a recent trip to the Detroit area. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel. We were able to add the breakfast buffet to our room rate for $5 per adult per day (upon check-in) and it was well worth it! The rooms are typical hotel rooms. We had a king bed and a pullout couch in our room. Our favorite parts of our stay: the pool, the breakfast, the clean environment, the comfy bed, and the computer and printer in lobby. Things that were a bit disappointing: only one elevator that we could find (ask for a ground floor room!), road in front of hotel was in poor shape with lots of potholes.

This hotel is very close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

We've stayed here a few times for medical visits to the Detroit Medical Center. Nice quiet location, not far from some decent restaurants and a mall.
It's a basic Courtyard, very clean, with friendly staff..although a Sunday evening checkin seemed to find them a bit shortstaffed.

Our visit was a great experience from the moment we stepped fthrough the door. We were greeted with a big smile and Hello by the desk staff and all staff was friendly & helpful throughout our visit. The room was very clean and well decorated and I loved having a love seat in the king room for seating. We usually have to fight over the one comfortable chair offered in other rooms. The lobby area was very inviting with a nice fireplace and flat screen television. The breakfast buffet offered a large variety and was good. The pool area was nice and the water in the hot tub was just the perfect temperature. I would stay here again it has a very overall warm and relaxing atmosphere.

This hotel is near Ford HQ and other businesses and a good choice for a business stay. If you're in town for another reason it's not a bad place just not as exceptional as you might expect from a Mariott. Better than $200+ a night to stay downtown and you're not that far away. The room was clean and comfortable. The halls and stairways were not as good but then we didn't sleep there. There is a breakfast buffet for a charge comparable to what we're used to getting for free at other hotels with room rates in the same price range. The staff was good at directions although a little short if you asked questions. The only real complaint is that this is advertised an an all non smoking hotel and someone across the hall was smoking and the smell filled the hallway although it didn't bother us in the room. There was a stiff charge for that so I hope the hotel upheld its policy and charged the fleaning fee.
