“Pieces of History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

First of all, I don't know when I've seen a museum that was so clean! Everything shown! From the bus on which Rosa Parks rode, to the Presidential Car in which President Kennedy was shot, to the chair in which President Lincoln sat when he was killed - these pieces of history made that history come alive in new ways. The displays are extremely well done, with marker boards that provide lots of information, tastefully done. Of course, there was much more, but those were the highlights for me.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013 via mobile

I have wanted to come here for years, what a fantastic place it is better than I ever imagined. Everything from the model t to the infamous JFK assignation car. And lovley 50s themed diner.
The titanic exhibition was there on my visit, at an extra charge. Even the rosa parkes bus was there along with a few old huge steam trains.
Please please visit even if you are not a car fan (like my wife) you will love it she did.

“Grand museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

You could spent hours exploring this wonderful museum. The building itself is very grand and I enjoyed it's many beautiful features. The only complaint we had was the poor service from the Oscar Mayer Cafe. The guy who served us never spoke, ignored us when we spoke to him. Just a jerk. All other employees we met were great.

“A Day's Worth Of History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

This museum has a lot of historic items and is well laid out. It was very enjoyable. There are items of historical note like Kennedy's Dallas car and Lincoln's chair.

“Nice to see America at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

Being from the South never really knew anything about the Henry Ford. As i was assigend to work at the Ford Rouge Plant, everyone said you have to go to the Henry Ford. My family was able to come up to Detroit and besides just what Detroit has to offer, the Henry Ford was the highlight of our time in Michigan. Some much to see and to learn at the museum and the village. I would highly recommend this everyone who wants to see what it means to be an American and what we are able to accomplish
