Stayed at the Novotel for 5 nights in September. It is well located and our room had a lovely view over the beach. The bathroom was well equiped with a bath, which is unusual but very welcome for relaxing after strenuous excursions aroud the area. There are tea making facilities but despite being in a 3-bedded room we only had facilities for 2.I asked for extra milk and was asked to pay £8 for a carton of milk needless to say I declined. Trabzon is a strickly muslim city and there is only one bar that serves alcohol. It is available in the hotel but at a price £5 for a glass of beer £30 for a bottle of local wine! The breakfast were excellent with plenty of choice but I did not think the evening meals were up to the standard of a 4star hotel There was no choice and one friend who is vegetarian was only offered salad and cheese although the a la carte menu had lots of food that she could have had.
