Dovestones reservoir has a path going around it, which is about 2.5 miles long. The path is well made allowing an easy walk. The scenery is great. We saw a young Peregrine Falcon whilst we were there, so there is wildlife to look out for. The RSPB have been busy in the area and some parts are fenced off to allow plants to grow and for wildlife to flourish. There is a decent sized car park but it does get full at weekends. There are also toilets but they are a bit basic! At weekends there is also a burger/tea van which does a good trade.
