“Perfect for wings, beer, and football”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

If you are looking for a gourmet meal, the Cedar Tavern is not the place to go. The Cedar Tavern is, however, a great place to belly up to the bar, order some delicious wings, a beer, and enjoy the company of locals while watching a football game. The wait staff was friendly and when I asked them to turn down the jukebox, they happily complied. My companions ordered a burger and a taco salad and they both enjoyed their meals very much. My wings were excellent and the perfect food to go along with football, rainy weather, and a cold beer.
It's small town hangout/bar at it's best. Sit back, relax, have a cold one, and enjoy.

“Not Really A Restaurant...A Bar that happens to sell food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

When we moved to the area, we were told that the Cedar Tavern had a good steak dinner. So one day we figured we would give it a try. We had never been there before. Just to be clear.... this is a bar that happens to sell food. Not really a restaurant. Patrons LIKE to drink and a little on the rowdy side. And don t even think about asking to have the blaring juke box turned down. Apparently the large group of regular patrons are in love with their national anthem. A country western song where the singer swears on a regular basis during the song. If you are looking to eat food in a civilized environment.... just drive a little farther to the north end of town. You can get a drink there too.... and the food there is actually prepared by a trained chef. Oh... and the Cedar Tavern has a bad habit of over serving their customers.... maybe not on purpose, but they should pay a little more attention. Don t park too close....
