Quinta Inn has become my extended home away from home. Quinta was home base while attending the Yankee Air Museum, Henry Ford Museum and the 'Thunder Over Michigan' air show. Cathy made check in smooth and quick. Both Cathy and Elizabeth were very helpful in finding local addresses and addresses of other nearby cities. All staff members were friendly. No accents to deal with.
Cathy gave me a Shop Canton Guide to all area restaurants, including pizza shops, bakeriers, automotive, dry cleaning, hardware. This guide the guest is to keep.
My room had a king comfortable bed, five pillows. Room furishings: four drawer chest, two chairs, one a swivel on wheels, one a lazy boy type. A desk with three electrical outlets and a computer outlet. End tables on each side of the bed. Four wall lamps. This is my third Quinta, the best furished.
The room has a closet, with iron/ironing board, wall rack with four wooden hangerrs. On the first floor is an ice and snack machine. The facilities guest laundry is located on the third floor. Both washer and dryer are $1.50 each. Washer is 33-34 minutes, dryer 58 minutes.
Bathroom is not for for a very large person or the handicapped. Wall to wall mirror. Plenty of space around the sink area.Hair dryer, coffee maker.Entire bathroom very clean. No mold or mildew or hair in the shower/bathtub. About 10 seconds for hot water for shower. Plenty of towels. Towels ok in size, but on the scratchy side. I have learned to take my own big & soft towel.
No mico/fridge. I do believe a more expensive room would have them A mico is available in the breakfast area. This area is quite large. 8-9 tables, with 2 or 3 chairs each. The continenal breakfast hass a choise of two dry cereals, apple/orange juice, coffee. Bagels, muffins, & bread for toast. A bowl of apples & oranges, and hard boiled eggs. Two waffle makers. Breakfast: Monday-Firday 6:00-9:00. saturday-Sunday 7:00-10:00.
Maid service each morning starting at 10:00. My room, #103, was very clean. Since Quinta is 100 % non-smoking, no smoke smell from previous guest.
A wide screen Sansung sits on the chest. Only 20 some channels, however I wasn't staying to watch television. Three Showtime, three ESPN and the NFL Channel.
Locating Quinta can be difficult as there is no Quinta sign on Ford Road. If a guest is heading easst on Ford, look for a the Bowery Grill & Pub on the right. When seeing the Grill, put on your right signal light and turn into the White Castle restaurant, which Quinta and White share. If heading west on Ford, as a guest crosses I-275, get in the far left lane to turn into White Castle. If heading south on I-275, the traffic may force the guest to drive pass White Castle. Turn right onto Hasggery Road, first traffic light, to get back to Ford Road east. Once back on Ford keep in the far right lane to the White Castle entrance. Traffic on Ford Road is heavy from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The biggest drawback to staying at Quinta is the traffic, Quinta has a large parking lot. Any size vehicle can be accommodated.
Quinta is pet friendly. All dogs were is quiet and no messes needed to be cleaned up. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
