“Beautiful Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

We stayed in Mountain Run at Boyne and the staff were excellent. The condos were very spacious and clean. All kinds of activities for all ages. Would recommend to anyone.

“Ski resort in summer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

My husband and I just returned from a great week in Boyne mountain resort. We had a wonderful relaxing time at this resort. We went for a motorcycle rally and to do some riding in the area. The resort was very clean and the grounds nicely manicured. We stayed in the Edelweiss building, which is an older part to the resort...but had a nice little balcony and lots of space in our room. The staff are to be commended for their hospitality and friendliness. Everyone we met greeted us and made us feel welcome. I felt there could have been a little more variety for restaurants on the grounds, but what we did find was very good food. I would recommend this resort for a summer vacation for families as there was a children's club and they looked like they were having lots of fun. There are two pools and a fantastic water park on site.

“Nice place with a lot of helpful people around”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

My wife and I are beginners in skiing really first timers. We did not know what to expect the moment the chair dropped us at the top. We steuggled alot. however, thanks to some helpful people around and the great ski patrol service, i am alive and posting this message :). It was a great place. I just wish there is some free training for the beginners for few minutes.

“Best Ski Resort in Midwest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

I have skied in Northern Michigan for several years and have always shied away from Boyne Mountain until the last couple of years. Boy was I mistaken. They have really taken their operation to a new level. The snow making and grooming is truly state of the art. The runs are long but Midwest standards and really a pleasure to ski. Staff is super friendly and even the chair operators are always ready with a greeting. Can not say enough about this resort. Have never stayed at the resort or used the water park, I have a cottage close by, but have seen them and they are really first class. You will not be disappointed trying out this resort.

“Its okay not worth the money for advanced skiers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

If you are a beginer its great. They even have a free section for beginners that has a conver belt lift and not the nasty tow rope. The mountain was littered with beer cans, vodka bottles, and all other kind of alcohol glass bottles. The trash on the mountain was very bad. I have never been to a ski place with this much trash. The staff not professional at all. From the time you rent skis to the lift operators. I got attitude from the girls at the rentals because i had never been hear before and did not know the procedure to the Only one guy who thought he was better than everyone in the boot and ski fitting area. Everyone else in that place was nice. Then you moved out to the lift area and the lift operators are scary dark lipstick goth girls, to fat unhappy people with no personality. Sad part is we were being very nice to them and they even told us this place sucked. Really? They did not smile the entire time. I've been to black comb, bachelor, baker, Snoqualmie, big bear, nevada and hood.. i have never ever experienced this lack of customer service. The getting on and off of the lifts were really bad too. The seat is,right next to the platform and you have a few inches between seat and plat form making it very difficult to get up and off the lift. We watched many people fall due to the crapy lift. Not for lack of skill. Again im a seasoned skier and never have i experienced this. The prices they charge for lift tickets not worth it. The parking was a joke. And smelt like rotting fish and crap. It was a big mud fest you really need 4x4 to get in the ski parking. Your better off parking in front of the grand hotel and walking back. Im not impressed at all with the quality of staff. It looked like they hired from the local trailer trash area. Michigan has really friendly and kind people. Why is it no one was this way Boyne. You need to fire you HR and find someone good at picking personalities. .. we went two days and dont think i would ever go back. Mt.Holiday has way better staff and there mt is not as grand as yours could be. Im just sayin. Clean up your act Boyne if you want to be successful!
