“Small but wonderful”

Great displays. It has everything: a T Rex, mammoth, gemstones galore, and a display explaining plate tectonics.

“Best for school age kids.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2012 via mobile

You could spend quite some time exploring everything here. If your kids are under 7, only plan to spend about 1-2 hours at a time and definitely buy the membership. Older kids may like to stay longer. We didn't do the extras like the bats, but look forward to seeing it next time. It seems easier to go in off Woodward rather than Lone Pine Rd.

“Great hands on experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2012

It is hard to be "different" in the science museum world, but Cranbrook gives it a good try. Again, this is a very approachable museum - not over whelming at all. Terrific for young children.
