“Hand forged beers, good beer and good service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012 via mobile

Randomly stopped in here on a road trip and we were not disappointed. The Beer was great, highly recommend the Double Dragon and the stout, I believe was Steel Wheels was great. Simon our bartender was super friendly and more than happy to answer any questions and make us feel welcome. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. HAd the turkey bacon avocado sandwich, and it exceeded my expectations. I would come here again no questions asked.

“Good Beer to wash down some good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Stopped in to try some local brews and was glad to see a lot of different ones to choose from. Menu was not vast but food was good. I ended up with a burger which was good and tasty. The beer was good overall. Ended up trying a few different beers and happy with pretty much all of them. The IPA's were hoppy, the stouts and porters were smooth and flavorful and couldnt find one I disliked. Good place to stop in for a drink and some food.

“Pinetop Perkins played here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

We went here for the first time in Aug of 2011 to see Pinetop perkins, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, Felix Reyes, Bob Stroger and Jimi Mayes perform. It was a nice casual place that only seved up their own Micro-brew...but it was good. My wife ordered some food, but I waited too long and the kitchen was closed! She loved her's. There is a nice outdoor patio. The staff were all friendly.

“Great beer, cool staff - worth a stop for sure.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

On a Michigan brew tour we hopped off the Blue Star and made the jaunt into Benton Harbor for the Livery - which, from what we could see passing through Benton Harbor is pretty much the only reason to stop.
We went downstairs to the cafe and bar and cozied up to the bar with a very friendly bartender who really knew his stuff. In all of our Michigan tour, this absolutely turned out to be some of our FAVORITE brews - even when compared with some of the big famous names like Bells and New Holland!
They had a kitchen downstairs and it smelled like they were serving up some serious tasty stuff, but we'd already eaten and only drank.
STOP FOR THIS PLACE AND DON'T MISS!

“Work in progress”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012 via mobile

Stopped for a pint on our beertirement travels. I loved the concept and appreciated the effort here, but the IPA needed some refinement. We did not try the food so I can't comment on that. I'm sure these guys will forge ahead and continue to hone their trade.
