the pool was closed. Besides the affordable cost and decent reviews on trip advisor, the outdoor pool was the main reason for booking a room at the Euclid. It was closed due to a leak. Thankfully the room itself and everything else was good. We had a non-smoking king room, I believe we paid $55 for a thursday night rate, which was equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, both worked properly. The a/c unit worked also. Room was clean, had an alarm clock, table with two chairs, nightstands, dresser, a type of leather bench and a good selection of cable channels. Bathroom was just as well, clean, a couple of body/facial soaps on the counter. The shower had a shampoo/body soap foam combo dispenser, but the foam seemed to be the same as the antibacterial soap foam dispenser above the sink. I used the shower shampoo/body soap combo, but didn't "feel" clean. The front desk was nice and very apologetic about the pool being closed. I wouldn't change anything except that I would call before hand to double check the pool and bring my own shampoo and soap. Oh, and our windows also did not lock. I knew that going in from the other reviews, seemed kind of comical as we attempted to lock ours which never happened. I am sure it wouldn't be so funny if that happened to anyone, but we didn't feel unsafe because of it. When we left we made sure to take our valuables (ipads, cells) with us. For the price and what you get, I'd stay again.
Call first if you are counting on using the pool!
