This was my mom's and my first bed and breakfast experience and it was probably the best we could have ever had. The rooms are immaculately clean and have the feeling of not being in a "hotel" but rather in the guest bedroom of a close relative. We stayed in the Waterford room and the bed was among the most comfortable I've ever slept in. There was a basket of healthy snacks in our room when we arrived as well as a guide book to Cape Cod, so we'd be ready for our daytripping the next morning. Breakfasts were all incredible! Gourmet and beautifully served. A comfortable sitting room complete with coffee table books of the area, port and sherry and even fresh baked cookies (again some of the best I've ever had) make the common sitting room a comfortable and welcoming place to spend an evening. We never felt the need to lock our room when we were in the house, at breakfast or speaking with the innkeeper, who was, by the way, extremely friendly and knowledgable about the entire cape. He had maps and directions to any type of attraction we wanted to see readily available and was willing to research anything else he didn't have on hand. He was friendly and warm, a great conversationalist, but not nosey or pushy or in the way in any way. I could write forever about how wonderful this b&b is, but I'll leave it at this: Whenever I come to the Cape, Libery Hill is where I'll stay.

The Liberty Inn was outstanding!

My wife and I went up to Cape Cod for our first anniversary. The owner had a great recommendation for a day-trip to see the highlights of Cape Cod! It was outstanding! We spent the day travelling around the cape, visiting every 'unknown' site. Had a great time doing it too.

The second day we had a great whale watching trip!! Saw so many whales!

The bed was very confortable and the accomadations great. The food for breakfast was amazing too!

Thanks for a great time!

What an amazing stay! Our hosts were extremely welcoming and treated us like royalty! They are extremely friendly and helpful, and accommodated our every request. They also gave us tremendous dinner and sightseeing recommendations, and helped us find our way there. The food is also excellent and homemade! We recommend them to everyone.

What stands out most about Liberty Hill Inn is how deeply hosts John
and Kris ENJOY being innkeepers. This genuine joy moves through every
encounter from the way guests are welcomed to the care with which the
scrumptious meals are served.

Another aspect of the inn is its sheer beauty -- from the quality of
the light that makes through its rooms -- to its gentle sense of
privacy mixed with comfort.

Perched on top of a small hill overlooking lovely Yarmouth Port, the Inn exudes an airy sense of multi-layered history and modern amenities.

The clean lines of its architecture, the the spacious embrace of its common rooms, and the attention of its hosts lifted our spirits and rested our hearts. Our stay at Liberty was both festive and peaceful, celebratory and soothing.

With easy access to both the sweep of the Barnstable dunes to the silence of the hidden Cape winter woodlands, we found ourselves alternately restored and exhilarated.

We checked Cape Cod B&B and found Liberty Hill. We hadn't been to Yarmouthport in years and were eager to return. We stayed in the fresh blue and white Killarney Room appropriately on St. Patrick's Day and were greeted to tea and cookies by Kris who recommended an Italian restaurant nearby for dinner called Abbicci. We took his advice and had our choice of either tapas entrees or Italian/Mediterranean dishes. We chose the latter and were quite happy with the food, service, and atmosphere. The bed at the inn was very comfortable and breakfast was second to none. We had scones, a delightful warm fruit dish, excellent quiche, sausages, and coffee/tea/juice. John and Kris made us feel right at home! Later we checked out the rooms in the adjacent Carriage House for future reference and were wowed by the rooms with jacuzzi and gas fireplaces, beautifully appointed every one! We will definitely return and look forward to staying there again. Barb&Bob Boston

My husband and I chose the Liberty Hill Inn for our wedding weekend in the Cape last October. We missed the place so much that we had to return in February.
It is always a treat to engage in conversation with the lively couple, either over afternoon tea or a late night port /brandy in the Main House living room. The Inn oozes with elegance and character that is classic Cape Cod style.
We have stayed in a few different rooms, both in the Carriage and the Main House but have now settled on our favorite one. (not divulging which room because we don't want it to become more difficult to get).
The Inn is ideally located along historic Route 6A. You can walk down the road to the towns restaurants for dinner and drinks with the locals.
And the beach is also within walking distance as well.
But most importantly - the breakfast. Kris is a true chef indeed! The guests are served breakfast in courses with plenty of fresh juice and robust coffee in between. We are seasoned travelers and getting a good cup of coffee in the morning is not always easy.
We will be back again in the Fall!

We just returned from a long weekend at the Liberty Hill Inn and we couldn't be happier about the experience. We were looking for a quiet, comfortable place to relax and this inn delivered in every possible way. From the warm greeting we received from John and Kris (the innkeepers) to the exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean room we knew we were in for a memorable experience. Our room featured quite possibly the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced - so cozy that it was difficult to resist the urge to take an afternoon nap warmed by the gas fireplace in our room. As we wanted to see more of the Cape, our host John offered many useful suggestions on what to visit and even mapped out an itinerary for our afternoon. We asked for a recommendation for a local place to have dinner, and once again, John's suggestion was perfect - he even helped with our reservation! The next morning, we had early coffee and enjoyed chatting with John while Kris prepared a breakfast that we both agree was one of the best that we have ever had. Kris is a wonderful chef and he was ever more than willing to share his recipe for his marvelous home made scones and muffins! While we really enjoyed the treats fresh from the oven, Kris' quiche was even more delicious! Served with fresh fruit, this scrumptious meal was the perfect way to start another day of exploring the Cape. We wanted to visit Martha's Vineyard, and John even offered to drive us to the ferry and arranged to pick us up later in the day! We've stayed at many B&B's before, but we've never stayed with hosts as warm, friendly, and helpful as John and Kris. They really know how to make guests feel like family. We will certainly come back and visit again and again!
