“Totally Welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

What better way to start than to be welcomed and offered a glass of wine as Inn-keeper showed us around house and to our room.

If your not sitting by the fire pit enjoying the evening and conversations with other guest you can relax on the wonderful covered porch.

John and Kris work hard at making your stay the best .

Well what can I say that will add anything to the previous reviews. My daughter and I stayed at the Liberty Hill for five nights during August on our month long stay in the USA. What a fabulous Inn everything from the Room to the Breakfasts and the Inn Keepers as superb. We were made to feel as if the Liberty Hill was our second home. The Breakfasts were to die for as were the muffins and cookies. We have never felt so welcome anywhere and Cape Cod is just beautiful with stunning beaches and so much to do and see. John and Kris deserve all the compliments that are written in their Reviews and much more. The Liberty Hill beat all our other hotels by far. We will definitely be back. I think about our stay often especially when I am having my morning cup of tea out of my Liberty Hill mug. Thank you John and Kris for making our stay so wonderful.

Liberty Hill was a delightful place to stay. From the ambience of the home and grounds, the comfortable accomadations, spacious bathrooms, and marvelous breakfast, each moment was a treat. Kris added to the wonderful breakfast by playing Chopin on the grand piano. John was most hopeful guiding us to nearby restaurants and attractions and histroical conversation. A very comfortable and pampered place to stay.

Have you hoped to stay in a place where needs were met before asking? The Liberty Hill Inn provides welcome, comfort wine and homemade cookies.... and that's just as you come in the door! Breakfasts are creative, scrumptious and served with a smile. Our room was absolutely lovely and every amenity provided. Our bed was a cloud with pillows to match. Oh my gosh, we slept so well.
If you need a night... or a few, you'll find this Inn, one you'll remember and try again.
A Happy Elder Couple

Room Tip: We had a king size bed in a large beautiful room with a gas log fireplace.

Everything about our 5 night stay was stunning. Stayed in the Waterford room which was on the top floor of the main house. Our hosts Kris and John were outstanding, even making reservations for our car ferry crossing to Martha's Vineyard and supplied maps to avoid congested Falmouth. Breakfasts to die for and we could not resist raiding the cookie jar as we passed through the hallway. Perfect location to explore Cape Cod.

We have been to many B&B's in many parts of North America. The Liberty Hill Inn is our new favourite. We had used Tripadvisor to help select the place and we were not disappointed. Our room was very pretty as well as being comfortable. The Inn's common areas were accessible to all. Breakfast was a real treat as were snacks and other amenities. The hosts were outstanding, readily sharing their knowledge of the area restaurants and attractions and going 'above and beyond' in terms of their generosity and attention to our needs.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Cranberry room. It was lovely but the claw foot type tub/shower might be difficult...

We just completed a week's stay at the sublimely perfect Liberty Hill Inn. This was our second stay here and it was in every way as wonderful as our first. Innkeepers John and Kris are simply the best - welcoming, helpful and entertaining. When we arrived they greeted us like old friends, we were offered a glass of wine and then given the key to the Normandy room, a large, sunny cheerful bedroom on the first floor of the main house with easy access to the lovely living room with big, comfortable easy chairs and, even more importantly, the cookie jar in the front hall which is always filled with Kris's homemade cookies.

The king-size bed in the Normandy is by far the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Firm mattress with a three-inch cushioned topper (I know this because I just HAD to know find out what they used so I peeked under the bedding), four huge down pillows and double-sheeting with quality linens. The bed was so wonderful that the scent of Kris's homemade muffins wafting in from the kitchen was our only enticement for getting up in the mornings.

Breakfast at the Liberty Hill Inn is very special - fresh muffins, a fruit course and the main entree. No muffin, fruit dish or entree was repeated in the seven mornings we were there. Muffins like blueberry, raspberry, carrot, apple/cranberry. Fruit dishes like poached pears in ginger sauce or fruit/yogurt parfaits or nectarines in raspberry sauce. Every day the main breakfast entree alternates between sweet and savory - on sweet days we had pumpkin pancakes, waffles with berries, and Kris's special oatmeal pancakes (yummy!); savory dishes included three-cheese egg casserole, or quiche or (my favorite) spinach strata. John offers about six different varieties of juice, and will be happy to make a cappacino or latte if you prefer one over the regular coffee or tea.

John is very knowledgable about the Cape - what there is to do, where the best beaches are, what restaurants are good, and he is very obliging in making reservations or providing directions. For John and Kris, the Liberty Hill Inn is more than just a business. They want their guests to have a wonderful experience in their home, and they certainly achieve that.

We have already booked our stay next year and we cannot wait!

Room Tip: We love the Normandy room because of it's location on the first floor of the main house. Very c...
