We visited Volturno on a Friday night. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes and it turned out to be about 25 minutes. We started off with drinks and the Polpette appetizer. We got six beef/pork meatballs in a pomodoro sauce which we liked very very much. The waitress answered all of our questions and we had a lot given it was our first visit to Volturno.
We actually apologized for all our questions but she summed it up nicely, no problem it's part of my job. We ended up splitting a Burata pizza. I added mushrooms and prosciutto to half of it, $3 per extra topping!
We loved the pizza, we have never had Neapolitan style pizza before and completely enjoyed it! One pizza, two drinks, one appetizer $46, throw in a tip $56, seemed a bit high to us. The restaurant has an open layout with two imported Neapolitan wood pizza ovens in full view, a nice bar, overall very nice inside.
